This week we will ask, who decided what books will be included in our Bible? How did the early church evaluate the books that we call Scripture? Why does the Roman Catholic Church include books in the Bible that we don’t use? These are the questions that seemed to reach full agreement in the late 4thcentury regarding the New Testament. This week we will look at the issues and debates over the few New Testament books that came under scrutiny, especially Hebrews and Revelation.
