April 3, 2020

Greetings beloved church family,

For the next few weeks (Lord willing), I asked each of the elders to offer some words of encouragement to our church.

The following is from Kyle Fink:
Psalm 29:10-11, “The Lord sat as King at the flood, Yes the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace.”
"The flood was the most cataclysmic event in all of the history of the world - destroying countless lives. The Lord sat as a sovereign King then, and he sits as a sovereign King now. We can trust Him as He accomplishes His perfect will through this time as well as look to Him for strength (and trust Him with His promise of giving us strength) and then look forward to the peace that we have now, and ultimately in the future as we serve Him as King in His Kingdom!"

This will be week four of not meeting together as a church. The latest from the local and federal government is that April will be a canceled month.
What a strange thing to write...

In the meantime, here is the latest:

1. Sermon and Songs: We will continue to post the latest sermon, sermon notes, and worship through song on the home page of our website. For those that wish to revisit previous weeks "worship through song" by Chris McKrill, the videos are posted on our Vimeo page. The Littleton Bible Chapel app is another great way to listen to the sermon week to week and is listed under the "sermons" tab on the app home page. To download the app, simply visit the App store for your iPhone or Android and search "Littleton Bible Chapel”.

2. Worship Through Music Update: This week our songs are focused around the triumphant entry of Christ on this Palm Sunday. In light of that, our verse for worship is Matthew 21:9-11. “And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?” And the crowds said, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”"

3. Youth Ministry: Calling all High School Students—we are having a Google Hangout on Sunday night at 7pm. Stay tuned for more details. If you are worried that we don’t have your email then let Jon Newcome
know at

4. Helping One Another: We are overwhelmed with the amount of people willing to help out in any way possible. Thank you. Cindy Harrison is our contact person and will be coordinating needs with helpers. If you have any needs, or want to meet needs, let Cindy know at

5. Prayer for our people:
-Bob VonSpeigel - Recovering from stroke
-Dan Horrom - He is feeling a little bit better. Pray as he continues his cancer treatments
-Jo Banzhaf - There are residents in her apartment that have contracted COVID 19. Jo is considered high risk with her history of lung problems.

7. Giving Update: Thank you for your generosity.

8. April’s Memory verse: Luke 9:48 "and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”
