Lesson 9 - Early Church Debates: Christology in the Making

This week, we will discuss the difficult questions the church faced when talking about who Jesus is. What do we mean when we say Jesus is both man and God? Does Christ have one nature or two? How did the church resolve disputes that were caused by heresies on these issues? When the church leaders met at the Councils of Constantinople and Chalcedon, how did they resolve these challenges?
