Lesson 3 - Heaven’s Blueprint: Creation as Temple and Kingdom - Part Two
This week's class, Heaven’s Blueprint: Creation as Temple and Kingdom, will explore Genesis 1–3 through the themes of Temple inauguration and the establishment of God’s Kingdom. Far more than a simple origin story, these chapters reveal creation as God’s sacred dwelling—His cosmic temple—and the world as the arena of His reign. We will find our place in God’s story from creation through the fall and the future final restoration in Christ. As believer’s created in God’s image, our purpose is to serve as royal priests, reflecting God's glory and extending his rule.
But the story doesn’t stop in Eden. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture forms one grand narrative: the dwelling of God with humanity. The vision of a restored temple and renewed creation in Revelation 21–22 brings the plot full circle, showing that God’s purpose from the beginning will be fulfilled in Christ. Come and see how the Bible’s opening pages connect to its glorious finale, drawing us into the story of God’s presence, kingdom, and redemption.
