Lesson 13 - The Message of the Prophets

This week's class, The Message of the Prophets, will survey the message of the prophets and their warnings against the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah. With their message of impending invasions and captivity, the prophets not only serve as God’s prosecutors against the people for their breach of the covenant, but also as God’s messenger of a future restoration with a New Covenant that brings hope found only in Jesus, the promised messiah. Strengthen your biblical understanding with an understanding of the New Covenant that connects the Old Testament to its fulfillment in Jesus.
