For those interested in learning more about baptism or becoming baptized, you are invited to join our class on baptism Sunday, August 18th at 10:30am in the conference room. This class will be taught by Hansel Lee.

Sunday, September 29th at 8:30am
Join us for the next New People’s class on Sunday, September 15th at 8:30am in the East Auditorium. This class gives a brief overview of our beliefs and distinctives. For those families with little kids, we will have coloring pages for them. All are welcome!

Sunday, September 8th
Our next baptism will be Sunday, September 8th. If you are interested in being baptized or learning more, please plan to attend the upcoming Baptism Class on August 18th. 

Please come pick up your lost items! The Lost & Found table is located in the open Sunday School area. The table will be set up for a couple of weeks.

Kids will be promoted to their next grade class on Sunday, September 8th.

Understanding Church History – “The Church and the Biblical Canon”
Join us Sunday morning at 10:30 in the East Auditorium for our class Understanding Church History, taught by Rick Carmickle. This week we will ask, who decided what books will be included in our Bible? How did the early church evaluate the books that we call Scripture? Why does the Roman Catholic Church include books in the Bible that we don’t use?  These are the questions that seemed to reach full agreement in the late 4th century regarding the New Testament. This week we will look at the issues and debates over the few New Testament books that came under scrutiny, especially Hebrews and Revelation.  We look forward to seeing you Sunday morning.

Missions Community is open to all and normally meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening each month from 6:30-7:45pm. All are welcome to attend! During the months of August and September, we are out of typical schedule due to when our missionaries are in town. We will be back to normal schedule starting October 1st.

Join us for a special dinner with Greg and Becky Hutton as we get to know them better and hear about the work the Lord is doing in Japan. Dinner will be a Japanese meal cooked by Dave and Lisa Corbett. Due to the limited time and to give Gregg and Becky the ability to have more personal conversations, dinner will be limited to the first 30 people to RSVP.

The Men’s Fly Fishing group will no longer meet the 4th Monday of every month. We have however created a strong community of fisherman over the past year and would like to keep this momentum going by continuing to connect over the Signal channel. We will use this channel to coordinate on upcoming fly fishing events like LBC river outings, one-off classes, and events such as the Fly Fishing Show, Trout Unlimited meetings etc.
