UPCOMING EVENTS:

  • LBC Vision for Growth TONIGHT at 6:15 pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to be involved in the future planning for our church… (we will be requesting your feedback via survey)    
  • Kid’s Church between services TODAY at 10:40 in the East Gym
  • New People’s Class TODAY at 11am. Lunch will follow at 12:30.  Any new person that would like to come to the luncheon is welcome (even if you don't attend the class).
  • ACT Class (Adult Christian Training):  Both classes begin September 28th at 6:15 pm:
             “Paul’s Final Words”  (2 Tim)  by Alex Strauch, Phil Kayser, and Michael Smith
             “Parables of Jesus” by Lars Anderson
  • Special Indonesia Focus: October 12th at 6:15 pm with Chuck Harrison, Pam Isenhower, Andrew Cowell, and Suko!  This is a rare opportunity that we will not have again!  ACT classes normally scheduled for this evening will be cancelled.
  • ACT Class (Adult Christian Training):  “Guilt, Shame & Forgiveness"  by Tom Sorensen begins October 19th,  6:15 pm  (NOTE: this is a date change from October 12th).


ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Fingerprints: If you are working with any of our children’s programs, you must have     your fingerprints on file.  Dave Smidt will be doing fingerprints TODAY in between services in the fireside area.
  • Nursery workers needed! Four helpers are still needed in the nursery for the 5th Sunday of each month as well as one helper for the 1st Sunday. Please sign up in the nursery TODAY.
  • Evangelistic Opportunity: If you are interested in visiting and developing relationships with AWANA families (many unsaved) during Wednesday night dinner from 5:30 to 6:00, please contact David Anderson or Kyle Fink for details.
