  • Wedding Celebration!  All are invited to the wedding of Nancy Loyd and David Corbett.  This Saturday, August 23rd at 1pm, here at LBC.
  • Galilee Community Church Summer Carnival:  Saturday, August 23rd from 11:00 to 3:00 (this is  the new Chinese - English speaking church across the street taking over the old 4 square church).  Let’s welcome our new neighbors!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Urgent Need! Sunday School still needs 2 lead teachers and 5 helpers for the Preschool classes starting in September. Contact Christa Lambert 303-741-2748 or Cory Rae Drost        303-504-4203 to sign up.
  • Nursery Helpers Needed:  New sign-up sheets are ready by  the nursery room door for September 2008 - August 2009. If we care for your child in the nursery, please sign up for at least one shift per month. Thanks - your help is greatly appreciated!
  • Cooking Day for the Seibels:  Come to the chapel and help with Carrie's “once a month” cooking (they are currently struggling with Josiah, their special needs child, and a young baby).  If you can help for one day in September, contact Cody Newcome at 720-870-3707.
  • Women’s Bible Study:  A volunteer is needed to help care for babies in the nursery  for the Thursday morning Bible studies beginning September 18th from 9-11:30 am. The study will last for 10 weeks. Please contact Jacci Folk at 303-794-8344.
