Happy Father’s Day!
UPCOMING EVENTS:
- ‘4 Summer Nights’ begins Wednesday! June 18th and 25th / July 2nd and 9th; 6:30 – 7:00 Desserts
7:00 – 8:15 Bible Classes and kids program (2 years old through 5th grade)- “Table Talks” with the elders (topical discussions) facilitated by David Anderson
- “Financial Peace” taught by John Pitzer and Jay Hutchison
- “Jonah” taught by Steve Faulkner
- Baby Shower for Morgan Smelker: Tomorrow, June 16th, 7:00 PM at LBC. Morgan is registered at Babies R Us.
- Camp Elim Relief Cooks: Wednesdays July 9th and July 16th are our days to help! If you can go to camp to cook either or both of these days, please contact the office (if you already signed up at the Women’s Retreat, please call the LBC office to sign up again).
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- There is a need for people to help with the desserts for the 4 Summer Nights. If you can help with this, please contact the office.
- ESL Conversation Club: Open membership. Drop-in any Wed. from 11-12 pm during June and July to TALK with our international students. No teaching. No planning. Game and question cards provided. Call Kathleen Howell (303-781-8634) or Julie Witte (303-347-2010).
- Camp Elim is in need of male counselors for several weeks and a nurse for Grade School 1, June 22-28. Camp can work with people that can only come for only a day or two as well.
- E-mail Prayer Tree: Keep up with many timely prayer requests from our people, or submit a prayer request for prayer. Signups are downstairs today – see Pat Duffy.
- King Soopers Gift Card Promotion: A 5% discount will be applied to the Deacons Benevolence Fund! See Bill or Paula Leopold for details and to sign up.

Nine reasons why the end of the story {Eschatology} is encouraging and necessary.
#1- It teaches us that God is faithful.
#2- It teaches that us that believers are saved from the great tribulation.
#3- It teaches that we will see other believers who have died.
#4- It teaches that we will be with God forever!
#5- It teaches that God will execute his judgment.
#6- It fosters holiness.
#7- It fosters happiness.
