Bulletin Announcements for May 18th

UPCOMING EVENTS:

  • There will be a New People’s Class today at 11:00 in the fireside area (lunch will follow at 12:30)
  • There will be a baby shower for Doreen Boyer and Joseph tomorrow,  May 19th at LBC at 7:00. They are registered at Target & Babies ‘R Us.
  • Everyone is invited to the wedding of Jason Borrett and Erin Coggeshall (daughter of Lynn Barela) at LBC,  Saturday,  May 24th at 3PM. Reception to follow.
  • We will have a farewell lunch for Chuck and Cindy Harrison right after church on June 1st.  If you are planning to stay for lunch, please sign up today at the table in the foyer.
  • 4 Summer Nights: Wednesday’s June 18th, 25th and July 2nd, 9th from 7:00 to 8:15 pm (desserts will be offered after the studies).
    • Table Talks with the elders (topical discussions) —Dave Anderson will facilitate
    • Financial Peace—John Pitzer
    • Habakkuk—Teacher TBA
    • Children’s Program—Ages 2 years old through 5th grade


ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • May Special Offering (Please designate your checks accordingly):
    • 1. Chuck & Cindy Harrison Transition costs (moving from Indonesia to Emmaus)
    • 2. Camp Elim “Send-A-Child to Camp (cost is around $350 per child)
  • Youth Grade Changes:  The Jr High and High School Grade change will be on June 1st. This would include 5th graders going into Jr. High.  The Sunday School grade change does not happen until the fall.
  • Camp Physicals: Dr. Bentley Tate will be here TODAY immediately after church to do camp physicals in Room 22 (upstairs across from the offices).  If your child is going to camp and needs a physical, bring your camp physical form  -  already filled out.
